At Bush, we believe that children are forming the beliefs and faith that will guide them for the rest of their lives. Our desire is to come alongside parents as they train their children in the ways of righteousness. We want to help children grow into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as we faithfu
We want you to know all about our beliefs, policies, and procedures so that you can feel confident about your child’s learning and care at Bush.

In order to make your child’s time at church happy and meaningful, you can:
*be the primary spiritual trainer in his/her life.
*bring your child to church regularly so he/she will develop meaningful relationships with his/her church family and so he/she will not miss important parts of the instruction provided.

Sunday
1st grade – 5th grade
*This class teaches children the basic tenets of our faith and where they are found in scripture. We want children to know why we believe what we believe. This class provides a great deal of at home help for parents as you train your children to follow God.
Children’s Church
Sunday - Dismissed from Corporate Worship before the Pastor’s Sermon
4 yrs. – 1st grade
*We believe children learn to worship primarily from their parents; that’s why children are incorporated into the worship service. Children’s Church is only provided to children up to 1st grade; their lesson reinforces the same truths taught that day in Sunday School.

*Children will never be left alone in a classroom or go to another location on church grounds alone unless specified as acceptable by parents.
*Children will be accompanied to the bathroom door, but teachers will remain outside the door unless the child indicates the need for help.
*As a means of discipline, a child may be placed away from other children for a short period of time. If this does not solve the problem, parents will be immediately contacted to handle the situation. We, at church, will not overstep our bounds.
*At least two adults will be in every classroom with the children.
*Children will not be allowed to leave a classroom until they are picked up by their parents unless the Green Sheet indicates that the child may leave alone.
